Plant Sale Pick Up Day & Conservation Fair
Join us for our favorite community event of the year! Check out new plants and other goodies from local producers and enjoy conservation learning opportunities such as: visit with a local 4H Club, glean planting tips from Master Gardeners, and learn about soil health and erosion from staff at the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).

Even if you didn't place an order, there will be excess plant inventory and DAY-of only plants for sale. And lots of fun activities!

PLANTS FOR SALE - Purchase bareroot plants and starts from our excess inventory such as: BERRIES, FRUIT & NUT TREES (apples, walnuts and CHESTNUTS), and willow, birch and elm trees.
There will also be LOCAL COMPOST for sale for $5/bucket, BYOB (Bring Your Own Bucket).

DAY-Of ONLY PLANTS FOR SALE - Two local nurseries will have medicinal plant starts (blue vervain, boneset and meadowsweet), a selection of other native woodland, meadow and wetland species, all grown by local nurseries. And the FFA students will have blazing star and milkweed (common and swamp) starts for sale.
LOCAL PRODUCERS & FOOD TRUCK - Kingdom Kreperie food truck will be serving up hot, delicious crepes, and Stone Fence Farm will be selling bottles of wild apple juice.
FREE SOIL ANALYSIS - Wondering about the health of the soil on your property? The USDA NRCS will be offering free soil analysis for lead. Bring 2 cups of your soil in a sealed, plastic bag and NRCS will perform analysis and give you the results on the spot.
