Current Openings

Business Operations Manager Position 

Orleans County NRCD seeks a Business Operations Manager to join our growing, high functioning and mission driven team in meeting our strategic goals. Do you have experience managing nonprofit, farm or other business books? Are you comfortable with using QuickBooks Online? The ideal candidate is an organized, positive professional with strong communications, financial management and administration experience. This internally focused position’s basic function is to deliver business management needs to support our work with landowners for the protection of Orleans County natural resources. With room for creativity and growth, responsibilities include providing operational and administrative tasks for managing financial and human resources operations.

The ideal candidate can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the organization, brings a local community network, shared passion for stewardship of natural resources and has knowledge and/or practical working landscape experiences. The position is 25-30hr a week and based out of our office in Newport VT. Bachelor’s degree is ideal but not required and at least 3 years of related work experience.  Orleans County NRCD offers staff a supportive work environment with a goal of meeting our client’s needs as well as the wellbeing of our staff.
